About Us

We're Gene and Jody Grant, hailing from the greater Cincinnati area. Having raised five incredible children alongside a menagerie of pets ranging from dogs and cats to just about every other critter our kids could think of, we've always been deeply invested in the well-being of our animals. Now that our children are grown, and we've inherited their older cats along with our two dogs, Bella, a 4-year-old SharpEagle, and Talia, an 8-year-old Cavachon, we found ourselves searching for better, more balanced nutrition for our extended furry family.

Our journey led us to Pet Wants, introduced to us by dear friends who have trusted the brand for their dog’s entire life. The quality and philosophy of Pet Wants resonated with us immediately—it ticked all the boxes. Offering top-quality, nutritious pet food, the opportunity to forge strong community ties, and a chance to work for ourselves in our local area all appealed to our desires and values.

We're now proud owners of a Pet Wants franchise in the Miamisburg Franklin area, committed to providing our community with fresh, small-batch produced food, treats, chews, supplements, and comprehensive pet wellness products. The difference in our pets was clear and immediate; the saying 'quality in equals quality out' has never rung truer, as evidenced by our daily walks with Bella and Talia.
